RAINY-DAY LOAN

The purpose of the Main Street Atmore Rainy-Day Micro Loan Program is to provide flexible, low-barrier financing to support existing small businesses with capital for growth and stability needs. Loans are interest-free and available for up to $3,500. All loans are reviewed by United Bank, with funds disbursed through Main Street Atmore.

• Business must be a current Main Street Atmore Member in good standing.
• Business must be located within the Main Street Atmore District.
• Applicants cannot have an outstanding balance from a prior Rainy-Day Loan.
• The business must be located within the MSA District
• Applications must include all required documentation.
• Thirty-five-dollar ($35.00) application fee. Payment options: Check made payable to Main Street Atmore Foundation; Cash at the Main Street Office, or Card – scan the QR code

• Interior building improvements (paint, wall, ceiling, or floor repairs)
• Exterior building repairs (roofs, doors, or windows not considered façade)
• Business equipment or fixtures (tables, shelving, POS systems, computers, etc.)
• Furniture used for Display
• Resale Inventory

• *Subject to Board of Directors' Discretion
• Rent, lease, mortgage payments, utilities, or deposits
• Late fees, interest, or debt payments
• Salaries or Personal Expenses
• Any project or business that is not in compliance with the City of Atmore ordinance
