Favorites include Trick-or-Treat on the Street, Main Street Witches Ride, Music on Main, the Jingle Bell Walk & Christmas Tree Lighting, Ribs on Ridgley, and the Twilight Christmas Parade. Another cornerstone of Atmore’s cultural calendar is the Annual Thanksgiving Pow Wow hosted by the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. This two-day homecoming celebration honors the tribe’s heritage and is open to all tribes and local citizens. Though held on the Poarch Creek Reservation, its impact on the town is profound, with a legacy spanning more than 50 years.
